They gave us a double room with private bathroom, a nice shower, for example. Location: the hotel was close to the Barra, very close to the sea, and the beach and the town. The restaurant was located within 200 metres.

This is a modest little pousada (a converted home) in a quiet location near Barra Beach. Guests are students, international, and national travelers looking for a decent price. It is very safe, and the staff is quite friendly. Drinking water is available in the lobby. Breakfast is very good.

There is no air conditioning, although the ceiling fan and open window keep one from breaking a sweat. The is no cable tv, only local channels with poor reception.
